Fashion eCommerce & Brand Platform
Eland Lodge Equestrian is a multi-faceted business offering stabling, full livery service and facility hire as well as hosting events. They also have a popular physical store which stocks specialist equestrian equipment as well as a large range of country fashion brands. We created a website which puts the brand front-and-centre, promotes online sales, and communicates the wider services offered by the organisation as a whole.
Driving online sales to expand the brand's reach
With the exception of those travelling in for events, the equestrian centre largely attracts local customers. By placing eCommerce at the heart of the website's user experience we have opened up a wider market for Eland Lodge. Showcasing the range on a fashion-led brand platform also engages an audience outside of horse-owners.We integrated the site with a central stock management system, included advanced promotion capabilities and incorporated intelligent search in order to maximise back office efficiency and user engagement. By raising brand awareness in this way the centre's wider services also get showcased, cementing Eland Lodge's reputation as a destination for equestrian services and communicating those services to a wider audience.
A focus on community in a close-knit vertical
It quickly became clear from our early discussions that the Equestrian market is incredibly community-driven. We included a WordPress integration to enable Eland Lodge to communicate with that community quickly and easily. We also integrated MailChimp to capture email addresses through signup forms and overlays.
